Privacy policy

This policy covers Rest (listed as Rest Breaks on the App Store), the macOS app provided by 三疯 (Sanfeng), and this website. Contact: wdlgame@gmail.com.

1. Local app data

Break history, focus sessions, preferences, runtime state, custom breaks and protected-application identifiers are stored on your Mac. Rest does not operate its own account system or cloud sync, and does not upload these records to our servers.

2. Active time and system state

Rest locally reads input idle duration, lock and sleep state, and foreground application and relevant window state to schedule breaks and protect focus. It does not record typed text, keystroke contents, screen images or microphone audio. The current app does not request Screen Recording or Accessibility permission.

3. Advertising, analytics and tracking

The current Rest app has no advertising SDK, analytics tracking or third-party crash-reporting service. We do not use your break or focus history for advertising targeting or sell it.

4. Apple purchases and the trial

Optional Rest Pro purchases, transaction verification and restoration use Apple StoreKit / the App Store. Rest reads verified entitlements to unlock features; it does not receive your payment-card information or Apple Account password. The 14-day trial start time is stored locally and does not become an automatic paid subscription. Apple processes relevant account and transaction data under its App Store privacy notice.

5. CSV, retention and local deletion

CSV files are written to a location you choose only when you explicitly export them. Clear history in Statistics to remove history; preferences and trial state are stored separately. Exported CSV files, system backups and Apple purchase records are not removed by clearing app history. Manage them separately.

6. Website visits

Cloudflare Pages hosts this website. To deliver pages and maintain network security, Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, request times and paths. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We have not added advertising, visitor analytics scripts, tracking cookies or forms. The web break timer runs within the current page and does not upload timer data.

7. Support email

If you email us, we receive your sender address and the content you provide to handle your inquiry. The email provider also processes these messages. Share only information needed to resolve the issue. Contact us to ask about processing or request deletion of related support materials.
